Why we started Agromigo
Our founder Marcel grew up working in the greenhouse alongside his family. When the first computer arrived, everything changed. He discovered a passion for building software that could make people’s lives easier. Agromigo is the result.
Since 1997 Marcel has built labor and management systems for the horticulture and smart building industry, leading R&D teams at HortiMaX, Ridder, and Siemens across the Netherlands and Switzerland.
It felt like the right moment for a new chapter. The established vendors had slowed down, while AI and technology were accelerating rapidly. Mid-sized to larger growers were left with old systems that were never really built for them. That gap was too big to ignore.
That’s what led to Agromigo. Not to build another software product, but to give every grower access to smart, practical tools that make their work easier, their teams more productive, and their business more resilient.
The team behind Agromigo
Agromigo solutions are built by a small group of self-employed experts, many of whom Marcel calls friends. There is no corporate overhead and no layers of management. Just passionate specialists who genuinely care about the problems they solve.
Every person on the team brings expertise and positive energy. They contribute because they believe in the mission, not merely because it’s a job.

Our purpose
We believe every grower, regardless of the size of their operation, deserves tools that work as hard as they do. Tools that are smart enough to spot what’s costing them money, simple enough for the whole team to use, and affordable enough to make sense for their business.
